This track was originally intended to be an extra song included with "Naturalist". Due to time restraints it wasn't finished when we originally went into record. When we decided to release some Halloween themed songs, we finished it up and put some Halloween lyrics over the top. Ironically, it's being released before Naturalist.

This song is about the Devil, himself, giving someone (you, me, your dog) new, evil hands to play heavy metal to open a rift with the riffs, so his son (the antichrist, duh) can descend down with the Devil's evil minions on Halloween, and still everyones candy and their souls. And also kill them all. Or something. Damn dog.

The Devil, himself, gave me "New Hands" as an early Halloween gift
and he wants me to open a rift with evilish licks and riffs
before his son's birth, on the 31st, this year on October's
black and orange curse.

Releasing skeletons, bats, and ghouls.
Black cats, children in masks with pillow case sacks, packed with candy,
so many hours after school.
As I watch Pumpkin Jack's face light up with a disgrace
asking the zombie puking brains
"How's the neighbor kid taste?

I'll dance with banshee, she put me in a trance, like I was locked up
in Dracula's glance. These costumes are authentic, enchanted by souls
from parents to eager to open their doors, they bought all their candy
so well in advance.
With these "New Hands" that the Devils enhanced
these kids and their parents will never know what hit them
and that the never stood a chance.

All the while you run around trying to have some fun but it won't fool
the Devil, myself, or his son.
His army of fright; mummies and ghouls and ghost and demons.
On this Hallow's Eve night candy won't be the only FEAST that we have
for the evening.
